Health & Safety
Our Commitment to Health & Safety in New Zealand
Dynamic Group is dedicated to protecting the health, safety, and wellbeing of everyone who works on or visits our sites. We follow New Zealand legislation and recognised industry practice in everything we do.
Our policies and procedures reflect the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 (HSWA) and our responsibilities as a Person Conducting a Business or Undertaking (PCBU). Employees, contractors, and visitors deserve a safe workplace—and we take practical, proactive steps to provide it across all levels of the business.
Site-Specific Safety Planning (SSSP)
Before work begins, Dynamic Group prepares a Site-Specific Safety Plan aligned with WorkSafe New Zealand guidance. Each plan:
- Identifies and assesses hazards unique to the site
- Sets out controls and practical ways to reduce risk
- Includes Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and task analysis for higher-risk work
- Documents emergency procedures and makes sure the team understands them
Daily Pre-Start Meetings
Each day starts with a toolbox talk so the team can:
- Confirm the work planned for the day
- Review current hazards on site
- Reinforce safe ways of working
- Raise concerns or ideas before work proceeds
These briefings support open communication and help us improve how we manage risk over time.
Trained, Certified Team Members
Everyone on the Dynamic Group team holds current qualifications and completes ongoing safety training, including:
- Site Safe passports
- First aid certification
- Height safety, confined spaces, and other specialist training where required
Competency is refreshed regularly so our people stay up to date with changing risks, equipment, and standards.
